First Language School is a Testing Centre certified by Edexcel, the UK's largest awarding body offering academic and vocational qualifications and testing. First Language School is the only state secondary school in the region authorised to deliver Pearson Test of English – General and Pearson Test of English – Young Learners. Iskra Georgieva and Angel Mitev, teachers of English, were accredited as oral assessors and interviewers by Edexcel
. The Test Centre, which started operating in 2009, provides both test registration and test administration.
